Chloe Susana

Hey Guys,

Yes these are the ever so popular, sold out Chloe Susana. I would probably never buy them since they are over $1300. I did find a pair of Nine West boots with a similar feel. Originally $400 but with their current sale it is around $130ish. The only thing I don't love about them is the shaft is a big higher and being a petite person my minion legs will look even shorter! Hmmm... otherwise they would be perfect! I'm leaving for Taiwan and Japan in less than a month, I wonder if they would have something similar. To wait or to purchase??? Help, what do you think? Also if anyone have been to either places and have recommendations for food, shopping etc. please let me know!

Pretty cute right ?

holy cowl

Hey Guys,

This morning as I stepped out my front door,  the wind just hit my face like a crashing wave. Ouch! It's freakin cold out! Good thing I picked up a new coat!

It is a cowl neck which you know I have to love because its so versatile  There are several different ways to sport it. Hooded, full cowl and half cowl and the shawl look. When purchasing coats there are several things I look for. I love color so that is one of the most important criteria. Is it an awesome color? I actually don’t even own a black coat! The other criteria is neck/collar shape. I think color and collar shape totally makes a coat. It's how a coat sets itself apart. And finally details like buttons, embroidery, zippers. It all counts! But more importantly make sure that darn thing fits you. Ill fitting coats are disastrous and can make you look very sloppy.

Hope you like the coat, I was out fabric shopping for school and walked past it. The store is a discount store kind of like TJMAX. What a steal at $50 don't you think? But I ended up purchasing about 20 yards of fabric :/

Thank you for reading and bundle up!

floppy fall

Hey Guys,

Can you believe it is already Thanksgiving?  I have so many things that I am grateful for. My life has been busy with work and school and these days the lack of sleep has really gotten to me. It's difficult at times to stop and appreciate how rich my life has become. I have an incredibly supportive husband, a crazy but loving family and a great group of friends. This year I even have another set of parents, they are the most amazing people. If you all are reading, thank you for being a part of my life!

What are you thankful for ?

This past weekend we spent sometime at Cornell University for Leon's (old man) birthday. He has not been back for over 10 years, so we took a walk down memory lane and breathed in the fall air, enjoyed the little bit of foliage that was left and ate our way through collegetown. Cornell was beautiful and the food was awesome! I’ll be back Cornell.

Thank you for reading! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

venice beach

Hey Guys,

I know it has been a crazy long hiatus and everyday that has past I felt so guilty about not updating. Oddly, I felt like I was missing something, like my day was not complete. (blogging addict?) Leon can contend but he would probably tell you it’s the lack of exercise I am missing.

I’m so sorry and will try my best to never let that happen again. With the craziness of Hurricane Sandy and Leon’s really busy work schedule it has been so difficult to find time to shoot!  I’m on the hunt for a photographer, hopefully in a couple months I’ll meet one when I take my photography class.

Yes, I am in a summer maxi! Leon had a work conference in LA this week and I happily followed along. I mostly spent my days eating, visiting friends and all of our newborn cuties, even squeezed in time for an amazing scrub at a Korean Spa, I am soft as a baby’s butt! (Trang, I will be back to see you!) If you have not been for a scrub you are missing out. I’m currently molesting my arm because it is so smooooovth!

We were very fortunate to crash at a friend’s place. This was the view overlooking the Venice Canal. (I know poor me) It was amazing and I really did not want to go home. At least we were able to enjoy the first snow fall on the east coast. I caught Leon smurfing (smirking) walking in the snowfall, it was sweet. Despite the beautiful 90 degree weather in LA, I would miss the four seasons we are blessed with.

If you are following along, you know my obsession for vintage goods. I love stacking my vintage watches, which I purchase for $10 and $12. I was not able to decide between the two so I purchased both and so glad that I did. If you are wondering, no they don’t work.

Thank you so much for reading. Hoping my East Coast friends can enjoy some of the summer warmth from this bright maxi dress. I did not get to shoot my shoes, but I will premiere them next time, best eBay find yet!
